Holiday Party Look: Glittery Peachy

Here’s a soft glam party look:

How to get it:

~Apply your usual face stuffs (primer, foundation etc).
~ Use a matte peachy blush to contour your cheeks (suck in your cheeks aka make fishy face) then apply the blush to the sunken in spots. Stardust Product used: Stella pigment
~Highlight your cheekbones with a luminizer or shimmery powder with a peachy undertone.  Stardust Product used: Goddess luminizer
~Dust your face with a finishing powder to set and soften.  Stardust Product used:  Matte Finishing Veil

For the eyes:
~Apply a sheer peachy glittery shade to your lid area, wet with sealant or mixing medium–you need something for the glitter to stick to in the next step.  Stardust Product used: Melt the Snow shimmer powder.
~While the peachy shade is still wet, pat on a silvery/crystal glitter on top of lid.  Stardust Product used:  Shimmerstorm shimmer powder
~Highlight browbone area with a slightly shimmery, warm shade.  Stardust Product used:  Cashmere Mittens
~Apply the crystal/silver glitter, wet along lower lashline.  Stardust Product used:  Shimmerstorm shimmer powder.
~Line upperlashline with a thin black line.  Stardust Product used:  Midnight Candle, wet
~Curl lashes
~Apply falsies if desired.  Used Ardell #117 in this look.
~Coat upper and lower lashes with mascara.  Be very generous with the coats.  Used Covergirl Lashblast in black.
~Bat those pretty sparkly peepers!

Lips:
~Use a peachy/pinky lipstick or gloss to finish.  Used Nars Orgasm l/g

Winter Siren look and Forum details!

Hi everyone. It has been a crazy busy week, thank you all!!!

I wanted to give you some details about the Forum. I almost have it figured out and ready to go. I am excited to create a safe and positive place for everyone to share their passion, creativity, and love (for makeup and other things!). You will have to register to see the forums because I want it to be a ’safe’ environment. But other than that, the rules will be few…just a place to kick back, relax and chat–and share those makeup looks!

My 1 year Wedding Anniversary is Sunday. Saturday, I am making a traditional (US style) Thanksgiving dinner for the family. Canadian Thanksgiving was in October…we did have a huge family gathering but the fare was mostly Ukranian (yummy!) and I am missing home so this meal is extra special to me. Sunday we will probably go to a little Greek place and perhaps to a Casino. We got married in Vegas, so it seems appropriate!

On to the look. I’ve had this in my head a few days now. I call it “Winter Siren”. Super pinky-licious and bright.

Look: Polar Rose

Here’s today’s look.  It is soft and simple.

Please excuse the shabby brows, I am growing them a little for a reshaping.

50-50 blend of Pale/Light Warm Original Foundation
Kiss me! on cheeks, stippled with duo fiber brush
Winter’s Kiss on cheeks to blend Kiss me and add a subtle blue sheen (PRETTY!)
Bling luminizer as finisher

Eyes:
Rose Frost cream eyeshadow, Bare Necessity cream eyeshadow as base (discontinued)
Polar Rose, Limited Edition (lid)
Dream Cloak, Limited Edition (crease)
Winter White, Limited Edition (highlight, blend)
Midnight Velvet to line and in outer V to define
Black mascara (CG lashblast)
Taupe liner (private label sample)
Fall’s Farewell smudged into pencil on lower lashline

 

Lips:  Rimmel l/l Wild Clover, Rimmel Moisture Renew #700, Nude Delight, Mac Lipglass-Clear

(lips were more nude, less peachy in real life)
