Look: February Blahs

Feeling blah tastic thanks to a lack of sunlight and frigid weather (quite a shock from Florida weather).  So here is my moody and dark February blah look.

What I used:

emotion on lid
deep desire crease and above
pulse browbone
smashbox jet set  eyeliner in midnight black
clarins wonder volume in wonder black.

As a side note, Clarins Wonder Volume mascara is AMAZING.  Blows DiorShow away.

A look and some news

Here is a look with Magical Muse and also some news for Stardust Cosmetics.

First, Monday I will begin the ambitious task of adding a skin swatch of every pigment for the site.  I will start with the current Facettes de la Femme and work through all the pigments.  I am hoping this will give a more accurate pictures of the true nature of the colors.  I noticed recently, while working in bed on the laptop that my laptop monitor displays the swatches vastly different than my desk monitor, which was disturbing.  So, once I find a good deal on a new camera, I will also take new swatches too and try to tweak everything to give as accurate a picture as possible of the colors.  I don’t like hearing that customers where disappointed about a color, so I want to give as much info as possible!

Next, I am still doing site tweaks and working on getting the forum back up.  Unfortunately, the forum somehow got corrupted with the changeover and I can not get to the admin panel despite several emails to yahoo and following the repair program of the forum software….sooooooo I must start from scratch.  I am taking this opportunity to test some new forum software that is more user friendly and has more room for growth.  It makes me sad that we will lose all the old forum info, but I am excited that we will have a shiny new forum to communicate on soon…I am having forum withdrawls!!!

And on to the look:  Magical Muse is a beautiful shade…it does take a little extra effort because of the amount of pure pigment in it…but it works best with a ’sticky’ type base like Mac’s cream color bases or something similar.

You can see the slight glow from Ether on my cheek too.

New site, new tweaks.

Hi everyone.  The new site is live.  I am still tweaking some things so you will see some changes in the upcoming week.  I am retaking some of the images for the new collection to provide a more clear picture as well as working on the skin swatches.  My camera is dying a slow death so it is not taking as good as pictures as it used to for some reason.  Weird.

When I transferred the site from webhosting to the yahoo store, the forum is not loading, so I am working on resolving that issue asap.

The Every Woman Beautiful Contest has been extended, so be sure to check that out too. 

I don’t know what possessed me to do a site revamp at the same time as the new collection–things have been terribly hectic so I am catching up on some admin duties as well as getting the site flowing smoothly.  Thank you so much for all of your emails giving me feedback!

Site Testing
